I could really care less about the guy, once he was traded he officially fell off my radar. I wish him well, but the only QB I care about right now is #5. This whole "told you so" routine is so lame.

Well...I don't hate Jason Campbell because I don't know the guy.
he may or may not be a nice guy...But I have no reason to hate him on a personal level.

But I was aggravated that it took the organization 5 years to realize what took the raiders a game & a 1/2 that JC is not a very good QB.

I know that's where my resentment was with Jason Campbell.
Not on a personal level,but as a former football player,Redskins fan and former coach.

I just felt a decision on replacing him,should have been done way sooner than it was.

So I apologize for not standing up and screaming "yes he can" like an Obama ball washer and hoping some kind of change from Campbell that won't happen!

I don't expect you to understand and be able to analyze QB play, but it'd be nice if you wouldn't appeal to your own ability to do so, which is unquestionably lacking.

Hey GTripp remember when you said this ? Looks like I wasn't that far off on his skills or lack thereof. Go back and watch some more tape guy. However, I don't expect you to be able to analyze what he can or cannot do because deep down you must be right. I don't know if you actually feel right but,.... I really was. 2 NFL Head Coaches have agreed with me so far, then again I'm probably wrong.

I like JC as a person- by all accounts he's a very good guy- and for that reason I hope he's successful in his endeavors on and off the football field. He handled that whole trade circus with grace and class, and I respect him for that.

I think he's talented, but the guy has been surrounded by so many head coaches, coordinators, and systems since he left high school, it's kind of hard to imagine he could ever succeed with all that constant change.

I'd say at this point he's never going to be anything more than a lower-tier starter or a quality back-up.

I dont think i made a clear enough point. The QB's you named above all had earned their jobs through their play, and were clearly the best option for their respective teams. Jason never did that, he never had to do that. Nobody made him prove anything. They just gave him the starting job...

When I said Jason didnt have to earn his job, i meant that even in 2006 when he was unproven, he just was thrust into the lineup, and its like somebody told him "Jason, no matter what, no matter how poor you play, you will never have to worry about being benched".

It took a new GM, and a new coach to realize that Cambell wasnt the teams best option. And as soon as a new QB was brought in, Jason sulked, wouldnt talk to the media, wouldn't workout, etc...

Now hes doing the same thing in Oakland....

Im referring to his sulky attitude....The raiders havent told him to Sulk. And also that he has been allegedly complaining about Bruce Almighty lobbying them over the past few weeks for playing time. That strikes me as being insecure and childish.

But i do agree with you, it is time to move on from the Campbell discussion.

Why do people say he is a class act?

Has anyone EVER heard him say...I need to play better or I was having trouble with the blitzes or I struggled and will bounce back next week or anything with I in it?

The guy has never shown me any kind of leadership to any degree! Leadership requires responsibility and accountability.

If he's not blaming his O-line,Wr's or even his unfortunate position of being a black man and how it's not fair,he's dumbfounded for being yanked in a half for throwing a pick and fumbling twice or vice versa like he did against Oakland.

Look,people get sick of Brett Favre for all the pampering he gets and the excuses made for him for throwing late game ending drive INT's that lose him games...But at least the dude has done something in this League and has proved time after time,that he can win games as he has broken every record...
