htownskinfan 09-24-2010, 12:08 PM I have a question...
Why is it important for us to see him succeed?
Is it because he's a former redskins? I sure haven't heard anything on Chase Daniel and people hoping he does well with the saints....Or Patrick Ramsey....or Brunell?
Do you guys wish them success?
How about David Akers...he's a former skin? Do you want him to succeed?
How about Antonio Pierce? Were you guys on his bandwagoon for his success with the giants?(before retiring)
How about Albert Haynesworth?
He's on the team and people are dogging him? How do you know he's not a nice guy?
Do you guys know him personally?
The point I'm trying to make is....
We don't care how nice he is?
He's not a Redskin
We were bitching for years to dump him and were bashed for this opinion.
And now that we've been proven right,we are glad that Shanahan made the decision he made.
5 years he was on this team and was given excuse after excuse, when many of us Skins fans KNEW he sucked...
Fortunately, our new coach saw this as well!
And we are enjoying every minute of it!!
Just like the eagles are praying for failure on McNabb...
Why should we want jason campbell,to be a great player?
I want to know, how great a decision my Head Coach made in dumping his sorry ass...
And I'm feeling pretty good about that right now!
I could care less how good he does somewhere else...
I want Mcnabb to play well and the rest of the team!
That's all I care about on who PLAYS well!
Don't give us a hard time if you stupid shits have JC on your fantasy team...
great post#2
aceinthehouse 09-24-2010, 12:09 PM Thank you
htownskinfan!
artmonkforhallofamein07 09-24-2010, 12:12 PM Did anyone ever believe that? I think that people thought we could keep JC, get McNabb's production, all the while keeping our second round pick. I doubt anyone thought that Oakland would be better then us.
I was listening to the radio up in DC back in May ( it was the ESPN radio staion on FM ), and the talk show hosts asked a poll question as to whether the JC lead Raiders would have a better record then the Mcnabb lead Skins, and I would say at least 70-75% of the callers said the Raiders. All Skins fans, I was pretty shocked at how stupid people sounded and even astounded that some many callers really believed it. They absolutley were convincted of thier opinion.
I thoght it was RIDICULOUS. I have no reason to critise JC anymore, because now he is Oaklands problem! I will say this though.... :benched:.
EARTHQUAKE2689 09-24-2010, 12:15 PM I actually thought both posts were stupid and irrelevant but whatever.
htownskinfan 09-24-2010, 12:15 PM Thank you
htownskinfan!
your welcome.I have not read this whole thread to see why your being criticed for your post but I absolutely agree with you on the 2 I commented on.
aceinthehouse 09-24-2010, 12:22 PM Threads can become sweet, sour, stupid in a good way, or stupid in a bad way. You're the master of making them stupid in a bad way.
And you barge into my [merged] thread with a brain-dead analysis in which you displayed an inability to distinguish between the concepts of accountability, which Campbell is lacking in, and class, in which he has some.
Actually,I believe I made excellent point's that you obviously disagree with portis...and that's your opinion and fine.
And what you call brain-dead analysis, many others would call facts.
The fact alone that "he's a nice guy" isn't even a fact.
He may appear that way to you,but it doesn't make true.
I pointed out that the guy takes no responsibility for the mistakes that he's at least a Big part of...yet he never acknowledges it. Ever!
Then he's surprised to be taken out, when his performances was absolutely terrible.
Tom Cable gets it...Mike Shanahan gets it....
The only people that don't get it,are the Campbell supporters till the very end and perhaps Al Davis who reminds him of Jim Plunkett.
Now Al I can give a break too, cause the guy is older than the crypt keeper
But there just is no excuse for the stupidity for those who actually still believe...
It's the raiders O-line
Running game
Defense
or whatever lame excuses they have came up with this week.
Same excuses and same results
over the mountain 09-24-2010, 12:28 PM is OMFG one of those acronyms kids use nowadays?
whoever made that thread in the parking lot about guessin what some acronyms they posted means, that was pretty cool.

You're dumb enough to not realize that I did not say "Campbell does take responsibility for his actions". You, just like that other member in the other thread, can't read a complete sentence when angry.
You can't even notice when I'm agreeing with you for something.
You should have been able to garner from my post that I conveyed the idea that Campbell is not holding himself accountable enough.
Also, you didn't use responsibility or accountability when first discussing Campbell, you used "class". If you cannot realize the dissimilarities between these two words in your native language, you're hopeless.
Oh, and before you charge blindly again, I'll point out exactly where I meant what I meant about Campbell's lack of personal accountability.
And you barge into my [merged] thread with a brain-dead analysis in which you displayed an inability to distinguish between the concepts of accountability, which Campbell is lacking in, and class, in which he has some.
aceinthehouse 09-24-2010, 12:51 PM yea..the back and forth is tiresome...
I'm just happy about the redskins situation and will continue to be...
And i think we can all agree that Jason Campbell has a lot of work to do,if he's going to take back the #1 job. He's running out of opportunities.
That's all I have to say in this thread.
GTripp0012 09-24-2010, 12:51 PM Hey GTripp remember when you said this ? Looks like I wasn't that far off on his skills or lack thereof. Go back and watch some more tape guy. However, I don't expect you to be able to analyze what he can or cannot do because deep down you must be right. I don't know if you actually feel right but,.... I really was. 2 NFL Head Coaches have agreed with me so far, then again I'm probably wrong.I don't know, you seem as clueless now as you ever did. Thanks for pointing out that I did say that. I still stand by it of course.
Then again, you seem like a good enough guy, so if you ever get the urge for yet another strawman -- you know where to find me.
