^ good luck for harbaugh I think SF will finish with 7 or less wins again next year.

Playoffs. This team has a hell of a lot of talent, the OL will have another year of experience. The team is loaded and Harbaugh will lead them to the playoffs.

San Francisco has an elite RB(but the injury bug does like him), an elite TE, a playmaking WR, and a top tier run defense. The just need a QB and better pass D, and then they'll be riding high.

7 wins in the NFC West ensures a home playoff game, so SF will most likely make the playoffs.

I'd rather go 2-14 then 8-8.

THANK YOU, finally someone who shares my sentiment. I know its not gonna happen, but I hope shanny starts beck in an attempt to throw the season so we can get luck next year.

I don't get this way of thinking at all. It is like hoping that that someone rapes your wife so that you can then earn brownie points by being there to console her.

A fan, by definition, roots for his team to do well.

GMs have to adopt the attitude though, if there's a player that will be a game-breaker to be obtained and the current roster isn't worth preserving. However, rather than ask the coach to tank, they blow up the team so that it can't win that many games. The Caps, while in a different sport, did adopt this strategy.

Not interested in making some progress eh?

As you probably know by my statements, I want nothing but young guys out there next year. That may mean only winning a few games next year but I'm ok with that. This is a rebuilding job, and by the way the draft went Shanahan and co. realize that too.

What is 7 or 8 wins going to accomplish for a team that needs an overhaul? When it's all said and done we need a franchise QB, someone that when they walk on the field can make everyone around them better. I don't know who that person is, but he's obviously not on the roster.

And so do the Wizards.

No chance, the rams and cards will both be better than SF. Gore is older and more injury prone, VDavis isn't a Superstar as someone else just said and they have no QB, defense wasnt anything special and Who's the star WR? Like I said 7 wins maybe
