Pigskins 02-20-2012, 07:09 PM Sorry iPhone auto correct messes up lol diehard 02-20-2012, 07:23 PM Why worry about RG3 getting hurt? I mean, you gotta have other guys who can step in and play at every position. BuckSkin 02-20-2012, 07:28 PM Wait Dirtbag, so we shouldn't draft 5 all-pro offensive lineman, 2 1,000 yard receivers, a 1,000 yard rusher, and a 1,000 yard tight end before drafting a qb in the ALWAYS better class of next year? Wait, I'm sorry I don't know what I was thinking. The nerve to believe that a QB with game breaking ability would help this team win games. Hold on guys, don't pull from the station before I hop on the bandwagon! Dirtbag59 02-20-2012, 07:32 PM Hold on guys, don't pull from the station before I hop on the bandwagon! Actually no we're no longer on the RGIII bandwagon. We have determined that a tackle, a linebacker, and a 2nd round QB will have a bigger impact on this teams future then a blue chip QB. Hog1 02-20-2012, 07:33 PM We should do what makes sense..... And not compromise the position of the team or the future of same for any reason. BUILD the team. Regardless of what the current popular thought on the boards may be "They" have a plan. Be it perfect or not, stick to it...... HTTR.. SBXVII 02-20-2012, 07:34 PM A lot of fans act like the guy is 38 years old. He can play until his late 30's. He could easily have a 8-10 year career if he's good enough. Everyone needs to remember that Weeden isn't a running back. If the front office thinks he's good enough then being 29 shouldn't really matter. I'd have no problem taking him in the 2nd round. Yea people act like he'll come into the league with a walker or cane. What we need to be concerned with is can they make the throws, lead the WR, make decent decisions, limit the turn overs, and not cost us two yrs worth of top draft picks. SBXVII 02-20-2012, 07:38 PM Why worry about RG3 getting hurt? I mean, you gotta have other guys who can step in and play at every position. Well if we draft him and he gets hurt in the first few games because he's not big enoughor solid enough to take a hit from a safety then he's a worthless pick. How about simply drafting a QB with the size of Big Ben. MTK 02-20-2012, 07:43 PM Well if we draft him and he gets hurt in the first few games because he's not big enoughor solid enough to take a hit from a safety then he's a worthless pick. How about simply drafting a QB with the size of Big Ben. He's 6-2, 220 I wouldn't worry about him not being sturdy enough EARTHQUAKE2689 02-20-2012, 07:43 PM Since when did 6'2" 220lbs plus become not big enough? SBXVII 02-20-2012, 07:43 PM Actually no we're no longer on the RGIII bandwagon. We have determined that a tackle, a linebacker, and a 2nd round QB will have a bigger impact on this teams future then a blue chip QB. I don't view him as a blue chip QB, he's more of a top flight QB with some issues that need to be worked out. Tannehill, Cousins, Weeden etc. are blue collar QB's. |
