I'm hoping the Skins call a few teams bluffs and RG3 falls into their lap at #6.

And when they push all in and take him before #6, then what? That's a big gamble.

Welcome to the offseason.

It's still better than the regular season.

Depends what you think of Griffin. If RG3 comes as advertised, then yeah, Tannehill lacks the ability to be a better prospect and a better QB down the road. If RG3's draft stock is inflated though, then you could see a reality where Tannehill actually becomes the second best QB in this draft.I think Griffin is a better prospect then Tannehill. (just not from as wide a margin as most people think.)
I think its fair to say that Griffin is a better prospect then Tannehill; and I believe that statement can be supported based on different measurable and other evaluation criteria.
But at the same time I realize that draft evaluation doesn't determine what happens in the NFL.
In 3 years Tannehill or Weeden could be the best QB of the this draft class and it shouldn't surprise anyone that much.

...bet everything on someone with the skill set of Griffin OR Tannehill without knowing exactly which direction I'd want to go with my franchise first. Foles throws the ball from the pocket a lot better than Tannehill and could be available a round later.I think the bolded portion is true for any team with any QB.

Re: Foles from the pocket
I couldn't disagree more about your thought that Foles throws the ball better at all, much less 'a lot' better then Tannehill from the pocket.
I put Foles behind Tannehill when it comes to throwing from the pocket.

I like Foles as a prospect and I see some upside/value there depending on where he's drafted.
I think Foles may have more pure arm talent (combination of arm strength/velocity, release/throwing motion, consistency) then anyone in the top 3.
To my eye Foles has a bigger arm and a cleaner motion then Luck and Griffin.
I would put Foles and Tannehill arm strength in the same category; both have clean throwing motions but I think Foles is motion is more consistent. (Tannehill varies his arm angles at time which can be good and bad)
But, Foles by far has the worst footwork of the group.
And Foles doesn't provide very much in the realm of escapability, moblity or playmaking (Bill Walsh refers to this as 'spontaneous genius') compared to the top 3 QBs in this draft class.

Now that RGIII has officially measured in at over 6'2, I'm starting to come around;). Damn the picks!!!

???

If it was all bout height then ....

6ft 3in
Tyler Wilson- Arkansas
John Brantley- Florida

6ft 4in
Ryan Tannehill- Texas A&M
Brandon Weeden-Oaklahoma State
Dominique Davis- East Carolina
Ryan Lindley- San Diego State
Jacory Harris- Miami

6ft 5in
Nick Foles- Arizona
Jordan Jefferson- LSU

6ft 8in
Brock Osweiler- Arizona State

If it's height that does it for you then Osweiler's got to be like hitting the lottery.

I'm still not that impressed with Weeden. Does anyone have a link to the QB press interviews?

He was interviewed on SiriusXM NFL radio. They asked him to compare himself to an NFL back and he basically went through every elite RB that ever played the game past and present. They asked him to guess his 40 time. They said thumbs up/down 4.4 time. His response was something like, "I don't do 4.4's anymore. Not even 4.3s. I'm 4.2, and I'm probably going to get 4.1." They were like that would be a combine record and he was just like yeah. Then goes on to say he is an amazing blocker and can catch balls. And that if someone wanted him to be a receiver he would and he could basically run any route a receiver can run. Geez, if this guy is that good why isn't he going #1 overall? Oh right, he's a douche...
