If the politics threads were strictly limited to immigration (for people trying to come or already here), Sunny and me would be on the same side.

I think we already have processing centers in Mexico where asylum seekers must wait till a border patrol agent is ready to process. I don't know all the details though. I guess once they meet the agent they are released in the US? I am not the biggest fan of that unless the person seeking asylum has a relative that agrees to house them until their claims are processed.
