LOL. So weird. You would think there would be more important things to spend money on that tacky/petty stuff like that.

I still don't get exactly how it works out here in S.C., I haven't had to register under any party.

Wtf is going on with twitter? Now people can’t include mentions of their content available on other platforms? I am not on twitter but if I used it for business purposes this would infuriate me

Build processing centers on Mexico side ... pay Mexico a bunch of money and have the asylum seekers stay there while their claims are processed.

word gets out the US border is not open-open .. less people will come, people wanting to go through the process can wait, anyone caught crossing border gets turned back immediately and we stop the "give them a court date and release in the US" policy

If the politics threads were strictly limited to immigration (for people trying to come or already here), Sunny and me would be on the same side.

I think we already have processing centers in Mexico where asylum seekers must wait till a border patrol agent is ready to process. I don't know all the details though. I guess once they meet the agent they are released in the US? I am not the biggest fan of that unless the person seeking asylum has a relative that agrees to house them until their claims are processed.

Agree with those jumping line being denied, we need rules.

SD - fist bump

BaltSkin - we had processing centers in Mexico during covid that we financed ...now mexico is paying us 1.5B to help with immigration?

idk .. theres a bi partisan solution somewhere. not a full cure all solution but theres gotta be something better than tag and release.
