Cable TV STILL cranking up the volume on commercials.
I thought there was supposed to be some sort of legislation in place to stop that? So much for that I guess. Local commercials seem to be the worst offenders.

Might just have something loose. It happened to me when building a PC - a RAM chip wasn't seated quite right and it shut down the whole tamale.

Obviously simple but...check the switch on the PSU? :D
Does it power on at all? If not, just go through each harness from the PSU to the mobo and remove/reseat them...you'll find it. Reinstall the RAM also. It's probably something simple and stupid.
