Chico, I'm with Okie. Mr. Serpent probably liked chillin' in your crib while you were gone but your return convinced him to leave the way he arrived.

Coming home from a weekend in trip sleep deprived and "dehydrated", to find a 5 foot pissed off snake in your den. Came down the effing chimney. This mother f*cker was coiled up striking a broom handle with decent force.

I didn't even click the link, but started laughing at the title. I feel for Chico. I'm not sure I could sleep right now. Chico, I recommend going and purchasing quite a few statues of St. Patrick since he drove all the snakes out of Ireland, maybe he can do so for your home!

One night when I went to walk my dog I came back in and felt something on my neck I thought it was a Japaneses Beetle but then I felt the pinch of like a crab. I reached back to pull it off and it was 3/4 the length of my pinkie. I screamed like a girl scout.
