Really, I thought he and Pawlenty said they were out
Nope, heard last night he's still in the running... and considering it.

Hog1 08-29-2008, 10:43 AM Really, I thought he and Pawlenty said they were out I don't think they would tell a false truth? That'll teach you to doubt me :) Changing the thread title Why is it a shame for Republicans? hesscl34 08-29-2008, 10:53 AM That'll teach you to doubt me :) Changing the thread title Why is it a shame for Republicans? No way they'll win now... not a chance. MTK 08-29-2008, 10:56 AM I'm still trying to digest this pick. It just seems odd to me. hesscl34 08-29-2008, 10:59 AM I'm still trying to digest this pick. It just seems odd to me. You've got that right.. odd!!! SmootSmack 08-29-2008, 11:06 AM No way they'll win now... not a chance. I'm not really sure why you say they have no chance now hesscl34 08-29-2008, 11:17 AM I'm not really sure why you say they have no chance now I believe McCain is going after the pro-life people and the evangelicals. Mitt Romney changed his position a while back from pro-life to pro-choice and I think that hurt his chances as VP with McCain. Being a Mormon also works against him. The country does not know this woman and I believe it makes the Obama and Biden ticket a very strong force. We will get to know her in the next few months. But, I believe it will be an uphill battle for McCain with the general population. Republicans can only hope that Mrs. Palin comes on strong and confident and makes a great impression with people. |
