What on earth was Palin talking about in that interview? She was shockingly unprepared to answer those questions. What a terrible terrible choice she is turning out to be.
Remember back in school when someone was just horribly unprepared for a presentation and it was sooooooo uncomfortable to watch? That's what it's like seeing her trying to talk about the issues. Absolutely painful.
Don't turn off the internet now, the fun is just getting started.

The only question in my mind is, who put her on the list of possible running mates for McCain, and does that person still have a job?

Do you think McCain approved of that message?

I can't wait to see what Bill Maher does with this tomorrow night...
You want to hear something even funnier? From time to time, I go to a Republican message board just to get some laughs. So I thought I'd check in tonight to see how they'd spin this one. Here's an actual exchange between two Palin supporters trying frantically to explain this one away:
Republican poster #1:She was in effect asked specifics regarding two issues about which she is not at liberty to comment...
Republican poster #2 (in response):Wow....you just brought up a FANTASTIC point...as Governor, Palin has NO DOUBT received briefings for the Active Duty Air Force leadership about the ongoing cat and mouse Russian, vs. US Air Force airspace issues, the US Navy seaspace issues and these “GOTCHA” idiots may have even pressed so much they were hoping for her to to mistakenly release classified info ... this could be a real reason she stumbled for words!
So there you have it -- Palin was trying to dodge questions which could seriously jeopardize our national security. Amazing isn't it?

Yikes! What a terrible way to explain NORAD's function in Alaska.

She's an affront to homo sapiens and putting her out there for interviews is a violation of our human rights. Brutal, just brutal!

I want to reach through the Internet and choke her and her advisors. This "Alaska is next to Russia" thing is such a stupid justification for foreign policy experience it's ridiculous. This idiot Republican poster can't be serious...or has certainly never served in any overseas or tactical arm of the military. I can promise with 100% certainty that the USAF is NOT consulting with the governor of Alaska on any type of operations, unless for some reason it was a natural disaster issue requiring the assistance or coordination with the Alaska National Guard.
It's pretty bad when Katie Couric appears more prepared than Palin. :madani:
