I disagree. If there is the possiblity of sex (with the hoe, not the bro) then I'm headin' for said hoe.

Nothing's quite as unmanly as staying with a bunch of guys playing poker when you could be bangin' a hoe.
urban dictionary defines it as

1.bros before hoeshttp://static.urbandictionary.com/thumbsup.gif (javascript:void(0))136 up, 10 downhttp://static.urbandictionary.com/thumbsdown.gif (javascript:void(0))The unwritten law that your bros (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=bros) (male friends) should always become before hoes (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=hoes) (female with whom you are/hoping to have a relationship (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=relationship) with). Most used as a trump card by your bros when they feel you are becoming whipped (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=whipped) or that your hoe is a slut (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=slut) and a bitch (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=bitch).
Jack: Scott, its poker night, remember to pick up the beer.

Scott: Sorry I can't, Erica wants me to go shopping with her. She said we might go back to her house after we got done though, I'm hoping I will get in the box (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=box).

Jack: WTF (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=WTF), bros before hoes, I will see you at 8.

Scott: Good call (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Good+call), see you at 8.

Even used my poker situation.

--------------------------------------------

Now this is situational but it most commonly refers to someone breaking plans with their friends to hang out with some girl and that doesn't fly. Now if sex is involved an ammendment can be made but here is a prime example of a violation of bros before hoes and the consequences http://www.goyk.com/video.asp?path=1774.

I've got to agree with you here. Unless its a friend you haven't seen in awhile and they're leaving the next day or some shit, go for the hoe, the bros can wait a night. Just don't make a habit of it.

Agreed.

I say the bros can wait to, I gotta get my sex on. I vote for sex.

Ok, how about, bros before hoes always applies to preplanned Bro situations (ie, poker night, fight clubs, Redskins games, strip club trips, etc). A Bro cannot mock the man for trying to get a piece if there were no prearranged plans.

If the Hoe is a bitch or is sleeping around or chaulk-full of STD's, the Bros can alway step in.

Feel free to add on to this very important Man Law.

In the possibility of sex the man will go with the "hoe" as the "bros" will be obligated to be understanding.

Ok, I can get on board with that.

I thought we were referring to random, unplanned events.

Is there an escape clause for planned events if the chick is unusually hot?

Agreed, this definately does not include unplanned events. A 'bro' is not allowed to make fun of or force another man to participate in an unplanned event while a man is with his girl.

I'd say there absolutely has to be.

We can call it the Christy Clause, named after Chris Cooley's unbelievably hot girlfriend. If a girl like that comes along, all bets are off.

I can go along with an escape clause but it must be very specific. This clause can cause complications so it must be detailed. Man law should be man law and that is it so there should be no wiggle room or room for arguement.

There needs to be something that is the opposite of the Christy Clause, like if the bros want the guy to tag along for something realy awesome.

How about The Sideline Situation because I don't care if I'm with Jessica Alba, if my buddies get sideline passes to a Skins game they better club me over the head and drag me if I try to resist.

I have always taken this law as one in which a friend stops hanging out with his friends to be and the call of his girl. When someone continually breaks plans with friends because he is doing something with some girl. That is bros before hoes. THat has to be stopped before it gets out of hand.
