I can't imagine that a NFL player can hate a team he's been very successful on (and a city where his child's going to be born) to a point where he'd turn down millions of dollars he'd accept from another team. KC doesn't seem to be an irrational guy.

By the way, the optimistics we both were thought the deal would get done at a lot more guaranteed money than 53 M! I said 65, you said "Saturday, 5 years, $25M per, $75M guaranteed."

So to me this is just numbers. The offer wasn't high enough... He wants to see if the market says he's worth more.

My best hope is that we transition tag him, and match any offer made, so the Redskins would save face and be in a position to say "we didn't overpay him, it's the market price"...

I'd rather roll with Colt this season then if they don't have any confidence Sudfeld can be a starter by the draft next year take a QB. Colt would only be an option for this year and possibly next depending on the results. I'd trade Kirk immediately for anything 3rd round or better.

I would put in Sudfeld and let him get the time in. McCoy isn't the answer, but Sudfeld does have some upside. He alone made Indiana decent. Once he graduated, the Hoosiers became the worst team in the Big Ten again. The guy is big and tall. We need to try and get the kid from Wyoming if possible.

I think everyone (including myself) needs to calm down. I don't think Cousins hates being a Redskin. I just think he's going to dictate to the Redskins and not vice versa.
