Would you rather have Dan Snyder? Or Mike Brown? Snyder isn't the worst owner in the NFL - at least he wants to win.
What if Bezos just wants an NFL team because it's an investment that will pay off in 20-30 years?
Yeah I am sure, At this point there is no evidence Snyder wants to win.
If he wants it as an investment hopefully he realizes the value in rebuilding the brand and fanbase to enhance his investment.
Regardless it would be atleast a different type of crap with a new hope for years.

Maybe the name decision was a harbinger of the fan base leaving. I was a fan of the Redskins but that team no longer exists, I don't know what team plays in DC now.
Because whatever name they put on it, Snyder's team is not the team I grew up supporting, cheering and enjoying the hell out of.

If this team was smart , they would release the new name during the bye week.. They have to keep the fans engaged somehow and right now 75% or more of this fanbase is legit done.

Might be better to wait until the offseason so they can ride the annual offseason hype train a while. Do it now and they are sticking a label on a turd that will forever have the stink of a rudderless franchise

I really don't want the new name being associated with this current piece of shit product they're putting on the field. Delay it until we get good in 2025.

It sure is. I saw a commercial on tv over the weekend advertising good seats available for WFT games. I never thought I'd live to see the day WFT would have advertise to sell game tickets. Forget about selling those tickets, they couldn't give them away.
