Yeah Warriors is the easy choice but if they can't use the logo then it's pointless.

I lived in the DMV during some of my formative years and really remember two Super Bowl wins. I will root for them no matter what, I understand if you have no ties to the area moving on.

I wish they would come out with an announcement date on when they're sharing the results of the review/name change because this is no way to live.

Yeah, I jumped on the Warriors bandwagon for a couple of minutes because I could see the current fight song work with Warriors.

But as I'm accepting to let go of the current name and the imagery that goes with it... I start to realize Redwolves brings so many things to the table. Awooo.

Change is tough my man but we all have to come to the reality that our REDSKINS are dead and gone. I hate to be so vague but we all knew eventually this time would come. HTTR for life and it'll always be a special place in my life, the skins were literally my first love, heck the R logo was my first tattoo at age 24 lol. Believe me, I feel the pain but it's kinda like losing a pet if you will.. Cherish the memories but life must go on. I'm not saying we have to like the new team, shit we can just watch football and not root for anyone.

The logo, the brand and the past is the only thing that is keeping me as a fan these days. You rip our brand, our name and logo away and it is almost dead to me. Especially if the team wins 5 or 6 games.

Also.. and this may be unpopular, but the fact that RR is one of the people who is helping Snyder with this turns me off more. He hasn't won a game, just got here and now going to have a say in something so important just rubs me the wrong way. What has he done here to deserve that?

Can't agree more with this man, it's already hard enough accepting the teams history will be erased and for those on twitter saying "The name and logo will not erase the tradition" that's bullshit.

I often feel the same way. I don't know if I will jump ship. I watched the Skins in 5 Super Bowls. In between all of them there were tons of memories and images.

It's hard to transfer that to another team. It's also hard to accept this change. It's almost as if we are out of football.

Honestly it took me some time (and I'm not quite there yet) to accept the name is going away, the logo is going away, any NA reference is going away, fight song is probably going away too. There's a strong affective link which doesn't die in a couple of days.

But what I love with Redwolves is what it offers from a fan perspective. Be a part of the Pack. Go to the Den. Howl.
I need shit like that to project myself as a fan of this team with a new name.
