Come up with a new name for the Redskins

I think that[Commanders]is gonna be it for some reason, it might also be[Sentinals] just a feeling, of course I still like[Archives]but who cares what I like??

Archives: a collection of historical documents or records providing information about a place, institution, or group of people.

Dumb but fitting, considering all the glory for this franchise is historical.

I know I'll end up getting on board with any name they pick... cuz what choice do I have ?

But Commanders is really the one that would disappoint me the most...

You know I'm all in on Redwolves/Wolves, but:

-Defenders, Renegade, Armada, Sentinels etc... I could see how it could be made cool with a nice logo and all
-Any Hogs option I'd have actually enjoyed. Easy to be made fun of, but unique and roots in our history
-Warriors... not creative but easy to have a dope logo and identity
...

But Commanders ? Really ? Why so serious...

Armada is a fleet, Maryland has the Naval academy, a lot of boating history in the DMV, and the it is a force.

Commanders doesn't roll off the tongue in any type of chant, and just sounds flat to me.

Washington Commanders is a long name too. Not really a good way to shorten it either.

Wright's comments about relevance were meant to capture tradition, pride, and other intangibles that were made clear in the videos. They easily apply to many names including Wolves.
As to animal names, the one part of the Making the brand videos that really stood out was a zoom call with about 15 kids, and one kid says it has to be an animal, so the interviewer asks all of them if it should be an animal, and all of them but one said yes enthusiastically. I don't think they show that if Wolves isn't a serious consideration.
