Very unconfirmed rumor but Washington Commanders is trending on Twitter right now because someone's sister's brother's cousin at New Era is mass producing Commanders gear.

Agree, sooooo much better then red Wolves.Disagree but at this point they have already decided and it will be whatever.

My take is that Commanders would be a very RR/DS choice. RedWolves (or Wolves) would mean they actually listened to the fans.

Wolves or commanders for me and yeah I saw that same Twitter rumor.. until the team releases the name I don’t believe shit

I bet the will keep the W (like the bears do with the C) and use that as the main logo. Put that on the helmets and call themselves the commanders or whatever and have a 2nd logo (like the bears do) just a guess

Maybe I'm wrong, but it makes no sense to me that they would be "mass producing" anything right now. Like they would have everything ready and maybe a couple of jerseys ready for photo shoots... But it's 2021, they know if they mass produce anything it'll get leaked out, don't they ?

Which is exactly why waiting 2 years may very well be a smart marketing move. Wether we like it or not, almost every one of us will move on with the new name, cuz we've had enough waiting...
