Come up with a new name for the Redskins

Well Cowboys has to be offensive...so, the Houston team becomes the Oilers and the Texans name goes back to Dallas.


Texans is offensive to these people too, though. How are we supposed to fix all of this? :D

best to stay away from being named after any minorities. Better off going with something generic. If not Redwolves then Warriors.....

Back in the 90s, when the NFL began doing the Throwback weekends and the like, the Skins wore some uniforms with the old color variation and no helmet logo. Looked like USC, but they were really sweet. I would suggest that for the season unless Dan wants one more season as (nominally) the Redskins.

Very possible that we see this for a year...

Kinda what I thought the uniforms should be this year. But I really like the red stripe added for the "redtails"

I love that uniform concept...but I think the red tail should be on the back of the helmet.

I heard this on the radio, so i cant take credit.

Announce that this year is the last year they will go by the Redskins. They will officially retire the name after 2020 to allow them time to finalize the legal side of a new name.

Skins gear would fly off the shelf, DS makes some money, fans get one final farewell year, time to do everything thats needed and you avoid what we have now ... a confusing situation of a team with no name.

This assumes Fed Ex and company would accept but worded and presented the right way ... I think they could have been sold on the idea.
