Come up with a new name for the Redskins

Is that even possible? Think about the rebranding it would take ? If his minority owners have a problem with it would they or whomever buys in expect the name Redskins to be completely removed from everywhere? In other words it might be too heavy a cost to rebrand twice. I dont see an interim team name as a feasible solution.

I guess I was saying take time with the rebrand. Recognize the name is changing and don't use a name Redskins for the year while they figure it out. I thought it would be away to prevent sponsors from thinking nothing was changing while DS tried to get the name right. IDK.

Agree, it's really not that deep guys. If the team can't use a damn spear and feather then Florida State is screwed

FSU isn't screwed as long as they keep giving the Seminole Tribe a few million reasons each year to be cool with the university using the Seminole name and imagery. The minute FSU stops giving those millions attitudes will change.

A tribe designed the Redskins logo and supports the name to this day and that isn't stopping the PC crowd from forcing action.

The same people have been saying FSU should be changed too. After they get their "win" over the Redskins, they'll find new targets. The Cleveland Indians see the writing on the wall and are getting ahead of the inevitable. They stopped the Indian cartoon logo last year but that was not enough apparently.

I'd love to keep a Native American type name. But this just makes sense. Why come up with something else that can still be deemed offensive to any Native American. Time to (sadly) move on to a different name/theme.

Warriors with the current logo won’t fly. With another logo though why wouldn’t it work?
