over the mountain

The only "agenda" I have is for the 'Skins to win games. Right now they are 3-5, most likely on their way to another losing season with a QB that a lot of this fanbase is/was convinced was going to make a huge difference for the offense.
I am not judging Kirk's play against Robert's play. I am judging Kirk's play based on what I see Kirk do. I want him to succeed. If he is who the coaches and management feel is fit for the role, I want him to evolve into "the man" but it doesn't mean he just automatically gets some kind of benefit of the doubt. He is not a 23 year old rookie. He is someone who likely is going to have to show a lot in the 2nd half of the season because a quick decision is going to have to be made on what to do with him going forward as he becomes a free agent.
the huge difference not being Kirk would be a pro bowler but the world of difference being we could move away from the simpleton 1 read passing plays and call actual passing plays based off reading, timing, anticipation, progressions, pocket awareness etc.
you know, all the things every QB in this league can do besides RG3 and johnny manziel.
that with Kirk we could call real NFL passing plays with the Qb taking the right steps and being able to read and deliver the ball with actual progressions.
watching RG3 struggle with the simplest of concepts and having our play calling reduced to simple 1 read johnny manziel type stuff was the world we wanted to move on from.
kirk is the best option available .... and hes actual playing pretty well and its exciting to watch his progression.
the fan base going into this year was hoping to run the ball and stop the run. that is what every coach and scot said would be our brand of football.
unfortunately, we havent ran for more than 51 yards in 4 games now.
We ran for a team total of 37 yards last week.
no one ever said cousins would be a pro bowler. no one ever said cousins is the solution but he has been a bright spot regardless of what a handful of fans think to the contrary. the fact that there are so few of fans with your opinion is positive. it will never be 100%.
this thread is killing me.
