Rambo was seriously efffing horrible, as was Phillip Thomas and David Amerson. That 2013 draft class sucked. Only one starter out of that draft three years later.
Rambo was a 6th rounder so not a big deal. It was the Amerson and Thomas picks that are piss poor. Those two guys should be starters here.
Bruce Allen should never ever ever be allowed anywhere near a draft room.
At the time Shanahan was in charge of the draft picks. But otherwise, yeah.

Nobody talks about the insight of the redskins to draft Cousins in the 4th round after trading all the picks for RGIII..somebody knew that RGIII was not a lock to make it ..how much better off would the skins be if they had never got mixed up in the RGIII deal and just took cousins in the 3rd or 4th round ..we will never know.. just adding to the weird thread.

If Cousins turns out to have a very good career, we'll all look back on Shanahan much differently.

I got a good feeling about Cousins being the future long term QB..he might never be a superstar but with the right players around him he could be very very good for a long time. I just hope if he has a bad game folks don't start in again about him not being the answer..all QB's have those games.

Ill look back the same way plus he got lucky once.
Which begs the question, who was Mike Shanahan?

The last coach to get us in the playoffs..and back to back superbowls with Denver.Redskins could have done a lot worse than Shanny..in fact he said he thought Cousins was going to be a very good QB.

He also said John Beck was going to be a very good QB, and in between his playoff runs had some pretty miserable seasons. He was a mastermind at finding rb's and building run games for sure. Ive always given him credit for winning with Elway who was way past his prime. His zbs run scheme was genius when he had the rite pieces. He was terrible at assembling or coaching the rest of his teams and a stubborn bitch who rubbed alot of staff n players the wrong way though. Anyway i was kidding and cannot believe im back on the shanahan talk. Lol. Plus Goat n G-tripp arent around to back me up anymore!

He was 24-40 with the Redskins. Couldnt have done that much worse.
