Shit like this is so fucking ridiculous, seriously one of the dumbest thing I’ve i ever heard.

The whole thing is crazy. The initial cover up by police that he tripped and fell, the we were just following orders and clearing the square, to the resignation from the riot unit and now we get to the real bogeyman Antifa! The ironically proclaimed organized anarchist organization I swear it is from a Stanley Kubrick movie or could be a chapter in a modern day Catch-22 novel.

Chicago is a shithole, run by Democrat trash for years. Go read the crimes and about the victims. The folks committing these acts should be vilified and called out, most are kids. What kinda trash raises kids like this?

I see fault from both sides in the incident with the old man shoved by police, as I do with George Floyd, cops 100% wrong, but as usual the "victim" contributed to the bad outcome. I can guarantee I won't get assaulted by police from now till they plant me in the ground. For the record I have a negative view of cops, having grown up around them.

I haven't been to Chicago since 2007 (pre kids) but I used to love it. The old neighborhoods. Love some good polish food. Went to a Polish Festival saw the Kielbasa Queen and tried to get her to sample my kielbasa. The L was like a clean quiet New York subway. That was a different time.

Took a long weekend trip to Chicago in 2011 and had a great time. Great food city.

I was there in 2005 taking a course with USA Track & Field when the Red Sox were playing the Cubs for the first time since 1918. I geeked out at the chance to go to Wrigley to watch and paid way more for tickets than I should have but worth it till this day if you ask me.

It's obviously a big problem there not sure what else to say, gun violence has been a problem there for years now.

Chicago is a shit hole right now. No doubt. When I see shit like that the change has to come from the community. They have to stop relying on politicians to fix everything for them and have ownership in their community. You can't complain about gang activity and then not help the police if you have information about gang related violence. It is not a one way street.
The way I see it is different from you though.

Citizen on citizen murder is sad. When those we trust with power to protect us hurt citizens that makes me angry.
