President Donald Trump, during an Axios interview, repeatedly stopped short of describing the late Democratic Rep. John Lewis of Georgia as an impressive individual.

"He chose not to come to my inauguration," Trump said of Lewis. "He chose, I never met John Lewis, I don't believe."

Only way anything is going to change is to sue the municipalities and make them pay in civil court. Yeah it sucks because that is our tax dollars being wasted bc some cops are absolutely fucking stupid power tripping aholes but there is no other current solution.

Police wont police themselves so fucking sue their employer. Make the cities and municipalities pay and pay and pay until they force police reform.

Big difference is of course that NY is in much different better position with the virus than most of the country right now. If it was still like it was 3 months ago schools wouldn't be opening.

Two major arguments by the right have been embraced today by the left...first NYT writes an article which everyone with a brain already knew...the Seattle Chop zone/protest was a violent garbage riot and unproductive...run by many who attacked and injured many innocent people And WAS NEVER Peaceful.

2nd cuomo tells NYC and others in the state go back to school. Science, research and the infection rates don’t support other options. Clearly going against political activists teacher unions which aren’t about education but about money and their wallet. Cuomo also directly goes against Beta boy Blasio redline.

Now we see lib and so call reporters coming around and now supporting this where up until yesterday they clearly were not. I guess Democratic polling drove it as they were clearly on the wrong side of it.

Not sure why you keep looking at re-opening schools with blinders on Chico. If NY was still a hot spot Cuomo would be singing a different tune. It's not just a blanket all clear for re-opening, he's still leaving it up to the districts to decide how to proceed and they have to stay under a 5% positive test rate to stay open.

Each state and county will make the best decision for themselves. I was surprised Georgia schools open in early August. In Maryland it’s early September. I would think closing the schools and after school care centers early had a lot to do with shielding kids from exposure.

I guess we will see how it plays out in Georgia and school districts that open early. I’m happy Howard county is not. But dang I want my kid back in school but not just yet.
