Chico23231 07-26-2018, 09:06 AM Big win yesterday getting EU to come to us, sit down at our table and work out some things.
https://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2018/07/trump-pulls-off-a-surprising-victory-on-trade/566111/
Earlier this month, in a little-noticed move, the European Commission approved imports of a widely used genetically modified soybean variety, a boon for U.S. farmers and grain traders who’ve long denounced Europe’s limits on GM food imports as protectionism in disguise. When Juncker spoke of increasing European purchases of U.S. soybeans, he was doing more than blowing smoke—the Commission had already laid the groundwork for doing so. If Europe does indeed import more U.S. soybeans, China’s retaliatory measures will prove that much less effective.
The EU deal is more bad news for China
CRedskinsRule 07-26-2018, 11:05 AM Or we can call it what it is. Buying votes. Trump loses farmers that's a big chunk of his base. 12 billion is apparently the going rate to keep their support.
If they put that 12billion to the wall they wouldn't have needed to do 12 billion in subsidies. But lets not pretend that both sides, and politicians at all levels, don't use cash subsidies/grants/handouts to keep their voters happy. I may be naive, but I would hesitate to say that of the 4Trillion dollars spent, a few percents might be going to keep politician's voters happy.

From the article:
The case highlights the struggle among schools to balance free-speech rights with keeping students safe, as acrimony intensifies over America's immigration policies and enforcement.
my new slogan (taken from the gun debate)
t-shirts don't kill people, people kill t-shirts
In all seriousness, the liberal progressive thinks that the bill of rights is worthless for anyone who disagrees with their concept of harm.
A liberal's motto -
Freedom of speech, if I approve it
Freedom to bear arms, if we like you
Freedom from secret searches, wrong if you are a criminal (but ok for opposition candidates)

I actually agree on this one, they shouldn't have "suspended" the kid. It would be justified if it said "deport the spics" or some actual racist garbage, but the shirt manages to get the implied point across without saying it directly. To make an analogy here, unfortunately using lament's terms is an effective strategy today, people like Richard Spencer can come out and claim white supremacy groups aren't about getting rid of minorities, it's about white rights being trampled on.

I can continue the winning points all year long. Take away trump hate and y'all got nothing. I've got economic factors, geopolitical reality(not fear mongering based in trump hate), and regulatory relief to cite every time.
