Are you denying that DeSantis is an admin on a racist facebook page?
I noticed that your article is from Foxnew, WTF man!!!I am saying
1) every conservative remotely supportive of trump is going to be attacked by standard liberal racial fearmongering.
2) i dont know about DeSantis' situation, but i do know the media regularly lies, exaggerates or manipulates the facts and i do expect this is one of those cases

The media has 0 credibility on these sort of stories because they have repeatedly shown their bias.

I dont know much about facebook, but like most of the internet, i assume that if DeSantis was posting rascist crap some one will dig up those posts and put them out there. I doubt facebook is using bleachbit software on their servers to save DeSantis' behind.

Fact ,it's not the media bias but your own and you just blame it on the media.

The graph is from the state department and refers specifically to those passport denials/issuance that you were complaining about - unless you think we only 2000 passports this year.

Also gonna slow the roll on using thinkprogress as a legitimate group for judging bias.

another state dept graph.

I concede this argument.

I also concede thinkprogress is not the best source. They have photographic evidence of the group (which you can research if you really don't think is that bad) posting support for DeSantis and also saying he's an admin for the group. Rather than say thinkprogress is not a good source, why don't you look at the evidence and judge the content from that?

as i said in the media bias, I am a private citizen with the right and freedom to express my bias. I don't hide it, or claim to be a republican while spouting socialist/liberal ideas in every argument.

The media/journalists who want to be treated as above the fray, need to be held to a higher standard. period.

I did look at several versions, and wasn't really impressed with it, but honestly my disputes are gonna get razzed here, and blown out of context, not by you.

I don't know anything about Facebook, I have never had an account, so this is from Tampa Bay's newspaper:

Republican candidate for governor Ron DeSantis says he knew nothing about a racist Facebook page that liberal groups claimed he moderated, the Tampa Bay Times is reporting.

DeSantis' membership in the 95,000-member Tea Party group was first noted by American Ledger, a website run by the liberal group American Bridge.

A DeSantis spokesman denied that DeSantis had ever been an administrator of the group or that he even knew he was a member. He immediately left the page when notified about the matter, the spokesman said.

A Facebook user can be added to a page without his or her knowledge and does not have to approve themselves becoming an administrator to groups.
I saw people saying the last part is true, and the last part is false.

I also know it was called the Tea Party, though had nothing to do with the political Tea Party.

I had looked at the Snopes account, which had a screen grab that said the profile was added by another person, and that a member who promoted voting him is the one that said he is an admin. Again, I don't know enough about Facebook to know if these things can happen without his knowledge.
Snopes has this as a reference quote though:
Facebook groups allow anyone with a Facebook account who is a member of the group to arbitrarily add any other Facebook user to a group without asking first as long as that user is on his or her friends list.

Whether your addition to a group by someone on your friends list was meant to benefit you or was done maliciously, you aren’t given the opportunity to opt-in. You are in. I would think that has to be a group based setting, but don't know

So bottomline for me, he is running for Florida governor, I will never interact with him in any meaningful way. If the people of Florida elect him, then let them do their due diligence, but for me it smells like typical media oversell.

.................maybe you do,maybe the trump cult should be held to a simple standard since they seem un willing to stand up for what is right.Maybe the people that hide behind the false narrative that it's the media to blame for all their woes in life when in reality it's just them ,yes it can be that simple . Many in the trump cult just do not accept responsibility for their part in the disaster in the WH.

Yet those who want to hide will hide and blame the media and not take responsibility for their own actions.

He won't and even if he did he would never admit it,................it's called a personal bias.

That's what I would expect, but are there settings for groups that let others add you, or is it always required to consent? The Snopes article seems to say that some groups can have a setting that allows for what I'll call third party adds.

Second, could an aide or even his wife have added him and he not known? He's not claiming that, and it certainly wouldn't be a good thing for a man wanting to be governor to not know what his staff or wife is getting him into.

Anybody who has access to a person's login can do things on that person's behalf, but it'd be highly suspect to add him as an admin on a page he wanted nothing to do with.

The group can send him an invite to join, or send him an invite to be an admin, but it is blatantly false that you can be added to groups as a member or an admin without your consent.

TL;DR it's sabotage, or he is an admin for a racist group on FB. He could always have been hacked too, but if someone would go to those lengths they'd probably do more than just add him as an admin for a group.
